  11. I am becomming a little frustrated with the lack of mem in my A2500
  12. now I am using ShapeShifter.
  13.  
  14. I have 8 meg FAST and 1 meg Chip made up of 4 meg 32bit on an A2630
  15. and 4 meg 16bit on a GVP HC+8
  16.  
  17. Having installed a Picasso II and so lost 2 meg of autoconfig ram it
  18. is a bit tight running MAC mem hungry applications.

  20. I am looking at drastic measures such the hardware hack by Dirk Timmermann
  21. and Thomas Riedel on making the board 8meg or 16meg ( from Aminet).

  23. Has any tried this hack and did it work and how reliable was the A2630
  24. after :-). It has been rock solid since I bought it.

  26. On another note will this hack give me more contiguous mem as SS
  27. requires this. At present the A2630 and GVP mem merge into a block and
  28. even with Picasso II board in I still get contiguous mem of 6 meg (
  29. Setcpu HEAD option is great )
